Maria Chiara Monacelli (M.Arch.) is an architect specializing in the impact of architectural environments on perception, behavior, and emotional well-being. She holds an honors degree in Architecture, Built Environment, and Interiors from the Polytechnic University of Milan and has advanced her expertise with a Master’s in Neuroscience Applied to Architectural Design from IUAV University of Venice, as well as a second-level Master’s in Neuroaesthetics from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Rome Tor Vergata.
Her academic pursuits include courses at globally renowned institutions such as Berkeley, Yale, and the University of the Arts London. She was also involved in international research and educational programs, including Moving Boundaries – Human Sciences and the Future of Architecture.
In addition to her academic achievements, Maria Chiara serves on the Board of Directors at Castello di Solfagnano, a luxury estate in Umbria. She is also the president and co-founder of Mirabilis, a real estate company dedicated to renovation, regeneration, and interdisciplinary cultural projects.
